Our Experience with Burgess Buttercup Winter Squash:
The Burgess Buttercup plants typically produce 3-6 fruit for us. They are a compact, easy-to-transport deep green winter squash that has a dense orange meat.
This winter squash plant comes in a four inch pot hardened off to outside conditions and ready to be planted into a larger pot or in the ground. If it is still early May, we recommend up-potting to a gallon container for a couple of weeks until the weather warms up.
