Our Experience with Scarlet Curls Willow:

Scarlet Curls Willow trees are one of the most striking trees we have on our farm. The deep red stems look great against a backdrop of green summer foliage or white winter snow.

Willow trees with special characteristics like color, curls, or catkins need to be pruned to maximize display. These special characteristics will only show on first year wood so coppicing or pollarding your trees is an excellent way to maximize the display.

Our small tree collections are grown from stock on our farm. They are established during the previous year. They are about a foot or two tall. They are well rooted, established, trees that are grown over the last nine months in one gallon containers. They are ready to be potted up or planted in the ground.
