Sweet Meat Winter Squash Garden Start

Our Experience with Sweet Meat Winter Squash:

Sweet Meat is a Pacific Northwest heirloom variety that comes from Oregon. It has incredibly dense orange flesh. The surface is a pretty slate grey/green with lots of character. Each plant usually produces 2-5 squash for us.

This winter squash plant comes in a four inch pot hardened off to outside conditions and ready to be planted into a larger pot or in the ground. If it is still early May, we recommend up-potting to a gallon container for a couple of weeks until the weather warms up.
